What is the "Old Mumbai Bicycle Tour"?
It is a ride into the past which takes you through some of Mumbai's most enduring landmarks and ends with a sumptuous breakfast at Woodside Inn.

How much does it cost?
It costs Rs. 1350 per person inclusive of a tour conductor, a bicycle, refreshments at an Irani café and breakfast at Woodside Inn.

Do you provide bicycles? What kind?
Yes we provide bicycles. These are mid sized all terrain bicycles with 21 gears comfortable for both men and women.

What do I need to carry with me?
You require comfortable clothes, closed toe shoes (preferably sports shoes), a cap and sunglasses.

What is the route of the tour?
We gather outside Woodside Inn at 6:45am for safety instructions and route briefings. Our route will comprise of landmarks such as Gateway of India, Colaba Causeway, Asiatic Library, Ballard Estate followed by a break for refreshments at an Irani Café after which we carry on to the GPO (General Post Office), CST (previously known as Victoria Terminus), Flora Fountain, Kala Ghoda etc. and we end at Woodside Inn for a sumptuous breakfast by 10:30am.

We have an English-speaking, professionally trained tour conductor with in-depth knowledge about the history and heritage of these spaces. This tour conductor provides excellent trivia which is not commonly known, which will give you a fresh take on your own city.

What is the length and time taken for the tour?
The length of the tour is approx. 10-12 kms and the time taken is approx. 3 to 3.5 hours (excluding time spent at Woodside Inn for breakfast).

Do I need to know how to cycle?
Yes you do.

Is cycling in Mumbai safe?
Yes, with little traffic in Mumbai on Sunday mornings, cycling in Mumbai is safe.

Do I need to carry an ID with me?
Yes, passport details are required for foreign nationals and ID proof is required for Indian nationals.

Can I bring my children?
Yes, anyone under the age of 18 requires parental supervision on the tour.

Can I get my own bicycle? Will I get a discount?
Yes, you can get your own bicycle. There will be a further reduction on the cost price of the tour to the tune of Rs. 250.

Do I need to make a reservation? How?

What are the cancellation procedures?
Cancellations can be made until 6:00pm on the Thursday immediately before the Sunday of the tour. In this case, a full refund will be provided. We donot accept cancellations later than that

Can I postpone my tour date?
Yes, you can postpone your tour date but this has to be intimated until 6:00pm on the Thursday immediately before the Sunday of the tour.

Do you rent out bicycles?
No, we do not rent out bicycles.

Any discount for group bookings?
No

Do we get to go inside the landmarks that we stop at?
No

Can I get my luggage/bags?
You can bring whatever you can carry while cycling. However, we recommend that you come as light as possible.

What is provided for breakfast?
Fresh fruit juice of the day, Choice between cereal and bowl of fresh fruit, Choice between 11 Egg Preparations, Choice between 4 sweet breakfast items, Choice between Coffee or Tea.

Can I skip some heritage landmarks?
We donot recommend skipping these landmarks. However, if you should choose to do so, it would be the call of the tour conductor.

What are the conditions under which a tour is cancelled?
A tour is cancelled if we have less than 6 people signing up and under state, national or weather emergencies. In such cases, we will consider the best and practical options available.
